I also don't know how to tame wavy hair ( i used to have straight hair when I was a kid but when i reached my teen years, it started to have that wavy thingee) So please,help me.....

when u take a shower wash your hair withalot of shampoo and not sooo much conditioner then it wont be so oily

the n when you get out get your towel and dry ur hair with it for like 15 seconds until water doesnt drip but your hair is still wet then aply the serum all over your hair and dont comb it untill its compleately dry and it will get rid of the frizz

and after straigthen your hair with aflat iron after a few months your hair will start getting straight again and soon enought u wont have to straighten your hair

The only hair type mask i have used is the Nexxus hair repair. I had color lifted at a salon and it was not done right so i had to go back. the second treament left my hair dried out and split. My friends mom works at a salon in PRico and she told me to go to Walmart and buy this NExxus Hair repair its 13.00 and you use it once every 2 weeks or before you have chemicals applied and it works wonders. so depending on what you need a mask for if its the same prob i had. definately try this for dry frizzy hair it is amazing!!!!

I'm assuming you have caucasian hair.

your scalp could be oily from over washing (your scalp is trying to reproduce the oil you've striped out), which could dry out your ends, not to mention if your using a flat iron often without any thermal products you could be frying your ends.

Try shampooing your hair with a moisturizing shampoo and apply a good conditioner (I suggest biolage ulta hydrating, moderately priced) from the middle to the ends, let it sit for a few minutes then rinse.

After you towel dry your hair apply a smoothing cream product (many choices, stay away from anything oily or with gloss in the description) Blow dry your hair (yes it may still frizz up at this point....the best product to use after drying, and believe me when I say it's worth it's weight in gold is RUSK STR8 spray, spray a small amount on dry hair, make sure to spray evenly over whole length of the piece of hair your about to flat iron. in one even stroke slide flat iron over the piece of hair, it will feel and look stiff till you comb it, then it's soft and pliable.

If you continue in this manner you should get a good two days style out of it.

Tip- don't take large chunks of hair to flat iron, use 1/4 to 1/2 thick amounts (check out a tape measure). to much hair will only result in a half done mess.

when you wash your hair, don't wash it with great force, you releasing more oils in your hair. try washing it twice, as in wash your hair with shampoo, rinse and do it again. when it comes the conditioner, put them on the ends of your hair, putting them on your roots will make them more oiler. try this for 2 weeks to see if theres a change. now for the 'money spending' this is for the frizzy bit! buy a good hair serum, when your hair is wet (not soaking wet), put a pea size blob on your hand, rub your hair and put it all over your hair, don't put more that the pea size otherwise youll get greasy hair. spread the serum well, evenly over. i hope this helps
