hi.. i just got 10 inches cut off of my hair due to locks of love. i couldnt resist thinking about those poor cancer kids. soon after they cut it, i realized i look horrible with short hair. i need it to grow at least three inches by my birthday in june. help me!

Hi. that was nice to do. I dont know if your hair will grow that fast, but here's what I suggest. Take a multivitamin and a separate hair vitamin that has biotin in it - it will promote hair growth. You can get this at the pharmacy or someplace like GNC. There are some high potency hair vitamins, but make sure that you can take them. It might not be good for you to have such a high level of vitamin intake. Eat more fruits and veggies if you are not doing so, and drink lots of water.

You should also wash your hair every other day, as said by someone else on this post. But dont do this if your hair dries out. If it does, wash it every 4 days. Keeping the scalp clean all the time will help with the hair growth. Just do a condition rinse. Wash with water, rub scalp gently to get out the dirt, and then put in conditioner and rinse out. If you have a really dirty scalp, then you can clarify it once a week.
