Is it normal to have lighter hair when you grow up?

When I was a kid I had curly black hair and big gray eyes...and now I have straight brown hair and hazel eyes.Is it normal? Will it get darker or lighter later?

By the way I'm 14 years old.

I was the same way, i had black and curly hair when i was small but now its straight and brown it gets lighter because the exposure to the sun and gets straight because that's whats in your DNA. Your hair will not get darker. If you want it darker just dye it.

It could just be because of the sun, the sun lightens your hair. When i was younger i thought i had grey hairs but they were just blonde highlights that were all summer natural!

it normal dont worry, when i was a kid my hair was super blonde like almost white and i had blue eyes. my eyes are still blue but now my hair is more of a dirty blonde and my eye arnt as vibrant as they used to be. my sister when she was a kid had straight hair and now its almost as curly as mine. everything on us changes as we age why not our hair well hope i helped ya not worry.
