definitely rich well i have 2 ipods,have my own room having my sweet sixteen in a club in las Vegas and having young joc as a performer and also I'm getting a BMW as a present and also i have 4 purses of lis vottion and 5 of gucci and 7 of coach do you yhink i'am rich?

your slightly above average because in america even our poor can afford things like microwaves, stoves etc. Now in the electronic age something i like to call the "give me" age we have many things that people in third world countries could never dream off.

Who knows. It's all up to you. What kind of work you decide to make your career for the rest of your life. Having all those items that you have listed does not amount to a hill of beans. You are living with your parents, I assume. Well, that is there house. Just do you best, as your parents have done and perhaps you will have a nice home some day as well. Good luck.

Hmmm... being rich isn't necessarily about having loads of money, but about how wise you are with your money.

-A big house is good.

-Paying too much for clothes isn't good.

-Why 2 ipods? If one broke, you still felt confident to buy another? Not good. Just wanted two? Wasteful.

-Shopping sprees: only if they are worthwhile.

From what I can gather, you do make a pretty good amount of money. You are definitely above average, though I'm not sure about rich.

I'll put it like this - I am in my late 20s. I have never made over $45,000 a year. I have several vehicles (including two that I bought brand new - one in 2000, one in 2005), a brand new boat, several HDTVs, loads of other various electronics, my 4 year old's college is about halfway paid for. I have several investment accounts, including the money market, 401k, IRA, Roth IRA, several mutual funds, several CDs, my wife is in college full time (and doesn't work), and I still have money to pay the bills and spend on things around the house.

I am not rich, but I am very wise when it comes to my hard earned money. Atleast I think I am.

All those things you listed don't determine your class. For example, someone whose income is at poverty level can have all of those things. Of course, they may be $100,000+ in debt and technically be a financially bankrupt, but still have those things and look "rich." I actually see it happen all of the time.

However, if that's not the case in your family, I'd say average to upper middle class at the most, just going by your description.

It depends on your area of the country. If you live in LA you would be considered very normal, middle class while maybe in a poorer part of the country less normal.
