Growin' my hair...?

You may not actually be losing more hair. Because it's getting longer, it may just appear to be more loss in pure volume. That being said, drink twice a day a hot tea with two tablespoons of unflavored geletin dissolved in each cup. You can buy unflavored geletin at most grocery stores. Also, start taking a Centrum Silver vitamin once a day and HIGHLY increase your consumption of leafy green veggies (I just slice a big wedge of lettuce off the head and eat it like a slice of water melon as a snack). Don't braid your hair until it thickens. Braiding can really damage it. Keep the edges trimmed about 1/4 inch every three-four weeks. Don't let very hot water ever touch your hair in the shower. Drink 8 full glasses of water per day. Eat one hardboiled egg a day. And before washing, rub baby oil into your scalp as a massage. The geletin is the big trick, though. If you smoke heavily, that will severely reduce growth rate. And, the closer to sea level you are, the faster your hair will grow. If your hair ever falls out by the handfulls, that's when you go see a doc. Gosh, I love a man with long hair.

It is normal to loose some hair everyday. When you brush your hair or shower you may notice this more.

Sickness, fever, and worry can cause you to loose more than normal amounts of hair.

Eat healthy, exercise, take vitamins and be careful with your hair. Don`t braid it too tight or use a brush when it`s wet.

Hairspray and gel can be a problem, but if you wash it out so not to smother your scalp, you should be ok, because it can clog the roots where new hair has to grow.

Here is a web site that may help you.

To stop ur hair from falling, u should notice the cause 1st. In ur case, maybe u should decrease the gel usage frequency as it dries ur hair.Use moisturizing shampoo, dont forget the hair tonic (try Neril),to strengthen ur hair roots.Good luck! :)
