Blonde highlights would be a huge contrast on black hair.

Instead i'd suggest getting some caramel coloured highlights! They'll still show up and it will look great - better than blonde or red.. =)

blond, would look real kool or just dye the whole thng black. This will make the shine from the jell in your hair stand out.

i would say don't get colored at all, you are still young and your hair is fresh. BUT if you insist, don't use red because thats kinda homo-ish. use a golden, subtle blonde so that it looks nearly natural...not platinum blonde.
