Where to donate hair?

I wanted to donate my hair. I have 24 inches of loose hair (meaning hair that hangs/flows...not counting the part thats right on my head and scalp). I'm way to scared to donate 10 inches - because I've always had long and thick hair and its been my trademark. And I've been stressing out and if I donate 10 its going to be up to my shoulders, if not, a little bit above.

I went on the Locks for Love website and it said 10 inches...

and I went to Wigs for Kids and it didn't say anything. I would totally donate 6 inches tho. Do you know where I could donated 6 inches?

no, i'm pretty sure it has to be 10 inches, i did it once, and it's not that bad.

they say 10 but i think u can get away with 6 or 7 cuz ur hair is thick

That's crazy how they set a requirement for what you must donate.

Its a donation, you should be able to donate how much you want....

i think you can donate six inches to locks of love still as when i looked at the website it said this "# 10 inches measured tip to tip is the minimum length needed for a hairpiece.

so the hair you send wouldn't make a wig but it would still help them...

Could you compromise and do 8 inches? Your hair will grow back.
