Help!! I am a hairdresser, and one of my regulars is starting chemo today. She asked me to cut her hair for her so she is "in control" of the hair loss. I don't know what i should do. Should I cut it short or I just shave it for her?? She already has very short hair. This is just hard for me because I've done her hair and her kids for for a couple of years. Please help!!

Talk to her about it. It will start to fall out in clumps so shaved is probably best. When my wife started chemo she asked me to shave her head before the first treatment so she didn't have to see it fall out. I shaved my head as well...
