Marker In My Hair?!?!?!?

Ok so I'm one of those crazy punk kids parents just hate :p. I'm bored with my hair right now and I was just wondering what you guys' opinion is on coloring hair with marker or sharpie. I don't feel like going to a salon to get it done because I kinda wanna experiment. Like, a bunch of my friends do it but since it's X-mas break I can't get hold of them. My hair is dark blonde and I don't know what color I'd streak it. My question is though, which would be better to use: magic marker or sharpie. I would only want it in for 2 days tops. Then how would you get it out?

I used to do this but the problem is that it gets all over your hands- even when it's dry! You could try kool-aid if you're really feeling cheap- it works and looks like a marker would minus the marker all over the hand thing.

I used marker before as a cheap fix on coloring roots... it isn't as permanent as you'd think... It washes out, but isn't going to be for only 2 days ... use koolaid if you want it for only a couple days.. there are also coloring gels that last only as long as the gel is in your hair.

it would wash out in the shower, so don't even bother. just go to the store and buy some hair coloring stuff. =)

hahahahah your awesome. well i would think it wouldnt matter either way but i think if you used sharpie it would be hard to get out of your hair because every time i go somewhere that they mark your hand with sharpie its hard to get off

okay one of my friends did this like a couple of weeks ago.

use marker first.

if you dont like it it WILL wash out.

and if you do you can just go over it with sharpie.

it does take awhile to come out with sharpie like a week or to.

and if you really want it to come out after you do it shampoo alot.

marker sounds like a waste of time.. for crazy hair day, all these kids at my school bring like hairspray that has color in it.. you should just look for a can of that and spray all over. likeee.. it's a spray specifically for temporary hair coloring, i guess. it washes out in the shower and it's fast to use.

I wouldnt recommend putting marker to your hair. It will kill it. Why not use those wash out hair colouring kits that come out with a shampoo. Im not talking about the temporary hairdye that washes out within 2 weeks. Its a small package that comes in any colours from red to purple that can be applied fully on your hair or in streaks that can be washed out, Its recommended you wash your hair every second day (which works for you because you want to keep it for two days) as washing everyday strips your hair of its natural oil, leaving it dull and dry.
